Dry van container specifications The dry freight box is the most widely used container for general cargo and is available in 20ft and 40ft lengths. For high volume, low weight cargo, 9ft 6" high, 40ft and 45ft units are available giving an additional internal cubic capacity. Refrigerated container specifications There are three refrigerated container sizes available as follows. (note that the following specifications are typical, however some variation to the specification will exist depending on individual models).
Open top container specifications Equiped with a removable steelroof or with removable tarpaulin.. Especially for heavy loads and overheigh cargo. Loading through roof opening and doorway by swung out doorheader. Flatrack container specifications Although flat rack containers are primarily meant for overwidth (width greater than 2.35m or 7’8”) and heavyweight cargo, both overwidth and overheight cargo can be loaded on flat rack containers due to its open construction. The specially reinforced bottom construction can sustain the high pressure of heavyweight cargo. Numerous high load capacity lashing rings are installed on the corner posts, top-side rails and bottom-side rails for lashing and bracing of the cargo. Range of application Commodities commonly shipped in the flat rack container include machinery, industrial boilers, tractors, parts packed in cases, steel tubes, steel pipes, cranes and cables.
45ft HQ container specifications Being 9’6” tall (high cube) and 45’ long, 45’ high cube containers have a capacity of 86.5 cubic meters, 18.8 cubic meters more than the standard 40’ container. They are especially suitable for voluminous lightweight cargo.
