Whilst worldwide trade should continue to grow due to further globalisation, continuous innovations in container shipping are necessary to keep up with the demand for reliable global transportation. One of the most significant of these innovations are the so called Ultra Large Container Carriers (ULCCs), these are ships that can carry more than 10,000 TEU (unit measurement for containers).

By involving ourselves more into the complete supply chain we demonstrate both our intentions as well as abilities to keep up with the more complex logistic challenges of the global trade.

To cope with the growing volumes and more demanding environment, D&R has been investing in dedicated software-applications, which are being tailor-made by our own in-house software company.
