KGN – Protect your CFS staff
Every year millions of containers arrive in the port of Rotterdam, approximately 12% of these boxes contain too high concentrations of harmful gas, which exceed the maximum allowed levels.
Via our drive-in station at the Rotterdam Maasvlakte or mobile lab we are able to realize analysis within 10-15 minutes after taking a sample from the atmosphere inside the container. We can measure up to “particle per billion (PPB)”.
If needed we have the capacity to remove the high concentrations of residual gas via forced ventilation which in most cases will take 24 hours, we do this without breaking the seal and opening the doors.
We also have a small warehouse or “Container Freight Station (CFS)” available for physical inspection together with the custom authority, to check if the loaded goods are rightly classified.
