We are proud that we are new to the Elsevier Weekblad, January edition of the top 500 list biggest companies in The Netherlands, for the sector Transport and Logistics.
With a annual turnover KLM Royal Dutch Airlines leads the pack on 1st position, we work with them on a regular basis when we book cargoes for our customers and fly with them to our overseas partners and relations, since 1st of February we also have an office at Schiphol and we follow at the 28th position.
PostNL is responsible for being the biggest amount of staff employed in their company, this is a very well known postal enterprise in our country and a customer of ours for many years. We are glad that a lot of our labor can be compensated via our self-built software, and can therefore follow on the 37th place in the ranking.
Looking at profit it’ s no surprise to see Port of Rotterdam on the first place, it is the largest seaport in Europe. We are a customer and rent a terrain of 165.000 square meters from them as DR Depots. As Distrirail we serve multiple terminals in Rotterdam with our train to Duisburg/Mannheim in Germany – Melzo in Italy besides rail between China. Here we are at the 18th position.
